About First Baptist Church of College Park
The First Baptist Church of College Park, one of the oldest African-American congregations in Prince George’s County, Maryland at 125 years, is a Christ-centered, Spirit-filled, Bible-believing, Christian fellowship of approximately 150 members nestled in the historic, quaint community of Lakeland in College Park, Maryland.
The Holy Spirit fills us as the Master’s life flows in and through us. We promote living our faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord as a blessing we experience every day. We are a church stretched out on the truth of the Word of God. All that we do is for God’s glory, realizing that we can do nothing in and of ourselves.
